2024 Impact Report

On November 24, 2024, Elmwood celebrated 100 years of ministry. People from different eras of Elmwood's past gathered to celebrate God's faithfulness over the years. 

Together with Centennial Church and Cornerstone Church of Blaine, we hosted our first student lock-in with about 50 students in attendance. 

Based on feedback from our team members, we made improvements to our nursery (layout of the room, new toys) that make it a more functional and inviting space, especially for guests who are leaving their little ones in our care. 

On the last day of school we hosted a huge party in the parking lot with bounce houses, games, root beer floats, and a dunk tank for Dave. We passed out about 600 root beer floats 🤯 

We launched an Elmwood youth group for the first time in many years. We gather every Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

25 men gathered to watch the Vikings football game and show off their chili-making skills. The winner took home the traveling chili trophy.

We built a better-looking and far more functional website from the ground up. 

168 times people came forward for prayer after the gathering on Sunday. We also received about 50 additional prayer requests submitted on the blue cards.

162 times, people from Elmwood had spiritual conversations with people in their sphere of influence.

275 times, people from Elmwood invited others from their sphere of influence into the life of our church family. 

We passed out roughly 3,300 cups of hot chocolate (lemonade if it was warm outside) to parents and students in our community on Friday afternoon. 

8 people made a public declaration of faith in Jesus through baptism at the 100-year celebration. 

We blew our BE RICH goal out of the water — we asked for $30,000 and we received just over $48,000! 

We finished the year with a surplus of about $800. Thank you! Your financial contribution makes it possible to keep doing ministry in St. Anthony Village and beyond.
