God delights to hear and answer our prayers.

Whether the burdens you carry are small or big, you do not have to carry them alone. At Elmwood, you will find a community of people who are glad to pray for you! Our church is marked by prayer because of the good news we find in the Bible — the God of the universe pays attention to us and our needs. He is a loving and generous Father who desires us to bring everything to him in prayer.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

- Philippians 4:6-7

"Cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you."

- 1 Peter 5:7

We want to pray for you!

You can find prayer at Elmwood in any of the following ways.

After the Sunday gathering.

After the service each Sunday, we have a team of people in the front of the sanctuary who would love to pray for you.

Grab a blue card from any of the seatbacks in the sanctuary, write out your prayer request, and drop it in the offering box.
